Painting begins on unit doors

Both crews began painting unit doors today, as so far, and all is going smoothly. Unit doors will be painted over the next couple of days and is scheduled to finish on Thursday. The doors will be propped open for most of the day to allow the doors to dry.

Below is a schedule of what doors will be painted to day and on Tuesday.

February 28^th

Floor 4 – 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 405, 406, 407, 408, 409, 410, 411

Floor 2 – 201, 202, 203, 208, 209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 222, 223

March 1^st

Floor 4 – 412, 413, 414, 415, 416, 417, 418, 419, 420, 421, 422, 423

Floor 2 – 215, 216, 217, 218, 220, 221

Work progress as of February 21

On the 2nd floor the guys have done a great job with the trim colour around the doors, putting on two coats Friday.  They started painting the walls today and should finish the whole floor by the end of the day. Tomorrow they will paint the trim colour on the 1st floor.

Up on the 3rd and 4th floor the guys are prepping the door frames and walls and should start painting tomorrow morning.

They are doing a great job of cleaning up at the end of the day, leaving almost no traces that they were there.

Painting Begins

Congratulations on making a selection on your colour scheme!!

As of today you will begin to see your hallways changing colour. Our crew on floors 1 and 2 will begin painting the accent colour around the unit doors in the hallways with ICI Opal.

Our crew on 3rd and 4th floors are working in the stairwells and continuing with wall prep in the hallways. Expect to see them begin painting the trim colour around unit doors on Monday.

Please take care around your unit doors as they may be wet. Wet paint signs will be posted.

Work update February 17th

The work is progressing well and we are ready to begin painting the 1st and 2nd floors tomorrow morning.  The ceilings are painted on all four floors and they are currently working on painting the ceilings in the stairwells.

As we begin to paint the hallways over the coming weeks please be mindful of the walls as the paint may be drying. We will have signs posted to warn of wet paint.

Progress update as of February 15th

Work is progressing nicely. The ceiling has been painted with 2 coats on the first and second floors.  The hallway walls on all floors are being mudded and sanded today.  There will be dust in the hallways due to the sanding, but we will be ensuring that your halls are clean at the end of the day. Please bear with us during this process.

We are looking forward to receiving the paint choices you have made so we can start painting the trim and walls on Friday.

We will be requiring access to unit doors starting on February 28th. A schedule has been produced that has been passed to the strata council. Once the schedule has been approved, we will post it here, as well as physically posting it in your lobby.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today we are working on sanding the walls and painting the ceilings. Our crews will be working on all floors over the next couple of days prepping walls and painting ceilings. Once the paint scheme has been voted on we will begin painting the hallways and the doors.

Update as of February 10, 2011

Work progresses today as the wallpaper continues to come down.  It has been a challenge scraping it off the walls, but we will have it all down by tomorrow and begin patching the walls.

Please notice that there has been a change to the colours in schemes 1 and 2.

Work begins today!!

You will notice our crews on site today as they remove the wallpaper border from the walls and begin patching the walls.

Please, at some point over the next few days, please take a moment to look at the colour schemes that have been chosen. The samples will be located on the wall next to the elevator and will be labeled "scheme 1" and "scheme 2." These labels will be what you need in order to vote on the colour scheme next Tuesday, February 15th.

Work will commence soon!

Thank you for choosing Wolfgang Commercial Painters to paint your hallways, ceilings and stairwell walls.

Just a brief introduction, I am the Project Manager and will be overseeing the job. Tej will be the onsite foreman, with his painting crew.  You will be able to identify them by the blue t-shirts with Wolfgang Commercial Painters logos and white painters pants.



You will see Tej and his crew begin preparation on Wednesday, February 9th. They will begin by removing the wallpaper borders from the wall. 


We will be working from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.

We will be posting Wet Paint signs, but be careful when walking through the hallways.

We will do our best to keep your building clean!
